Job Description

As a Statistical Assistant (Actuary Clerk), you will play a critical role in our finance team by assisting actuaries in analyzing statistical data to assess insurance risks and determine premiums. Your analytical skills will help maintain and update actuarial records while preparing comprehensive reports. If you have a knack for numbers and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

  • Support actuaries in the analysis of complex data sets.
  • Help maintain the integrity and accuracy of actuarial records.
  • Conduct market research to assist in developing new insurance products.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Provide assistance in project management for special actuarial initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Completion of at least two actuarial exams is preferred
Experience
  • Familiarity with statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
