Finishing Machine Tender

Job Description

As a Finishing Machine Tender, you'll play a pivotal role in our production process. You will monitor output, troubleshoot issues, and maintain safety protocols while ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate machines for specific production runs based on technical drawings.
• Provide regular reports on machine performance and production output.
• Adjust settings and make changes to equipment as required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing or related field preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Strong observational skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with quality control processes: Understanding of quality assurance techniques in manufacturing.
• Experience working with wood products: Background in handling wood products in a production setting.
