As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining large trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical skills and expertise in diagnosing complex issues with diesel engines and transmissions. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities in the company’s maintenance system.
• Work collaboratively with the team to prioritize tasks and manage repair schedules.
• Order necessary parts and maintain inventory records.
• Provide prompt and professional service to customers, addressing their concerns.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Stay updated on the latest repair techniques and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Diesel Technology or related field

Experience

• Several years of experience as a truck mechanic or in a related field
