Job Description

As a Grocery Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations within our grocery store, including managing staff, ensuring product availability, and providing outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for candidates with retail experience and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the grocery department, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Supervise and mentor grocery clerks to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Ensure the department meets company standards for product quality and presentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering and receiving new stock.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff.
  • Generate reports on sales, inventory, and staffing for management review.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in grocery retail, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
