Job Description

As a Retail Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets and minimizing loss. Your responsibilities will include investigating incidents of theft and fraud, collaborating with store teams, and implementing effective loss prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and document incidents of theft or fraud.
  • Work with local law enforcement on criminal investigations.
  • Conduct surveillance as needed to identify theft patterns.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with loss prevention protocols.
  • Develop loss prevention training programs for new employees.
  • Provide feedback to management on security measures.
  • Facilitate meetings with store teams to discuss loss prevention tactics.
  • Utilize security technology effectively to monitor premises.
  • Prepare statistical reports on theft incidents and trends.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of loss prevention staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • Certification in loss prevention or security management preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in loss prevention or a retail security role.
