Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Outpatient Dietitian to join our team. You will work with a diverse range of patients, providing expert nutrition guidance and crafting personalized diet plans that cater to their health objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of nutritional science, effective communication skills, and the ability to inspire patients towards healthier lifestyle choices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine nutritional requirements.
  • Design nutrition intervention strategies based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients on meal planning and dietary options.
  • Develop and present community outreach programs focused on nutrition education.
  • Analyze dietary assessments and recommend supplements if necessary.
  • Interact with patients to foster a supportive and encouraging environment.
  • Work closely with dietetic technicians for effective patient care.
  • Research and apply evidence-based practices in nutritional counseling.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department.
  • Advocate for nutrition-related policy changes within the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Licensure as a dietitian in the state
Experience
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations preferred
