Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Financial Systems Manager who will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our financial systems. This role requires a solid foundation in financial management alongside exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently manage complex financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the design and continual improvement of financial software solutions.
  • Conduct gap analyses to establish system capabilities and requirements.
  • Collaborate with software vendors to optimize system utilization.
  • Lead financial audits and ensure complete compliance with regulations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on financial system enhancements.
  • Serve as a liaison between finance, IT, and other departments for cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Support the development of financial strategies through comprehensive data analysis.
  • Implement training and onboarding for new financial systems users.
  • Assess technological needs and recommend new tools for financial management.
  • Generate performance metrics to track the effectiveness of financial systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial management and technology
