Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clothing Pattern Preparer to be an integral part of our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare and modify patterns for various clothing manufacturing processes, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the production line.

Responsibilities

• Generate and adapt patterns utilizing advanced software tools.
• Conduct measurements and fittings to verify the fit of prototype garments.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot pattern-related issues.
• Keep up to date with the latest fashion trends and production technologies.
• Ensure compliance with garment specifications during the pattern preparation process.
• Assist in training new pattern preparers on best practices and software usage.
• Perform quality inspections on finished patterns before production.
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives within the pattern-making team.
• Participate in fittings and provide feedback on design and functionality.
• Document all pattern changes and maintain an organized system.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree or higher in Fashion Design or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clothing pattern preparation.

Languages

• English: Fluent
