Job Description

As an Explosives Worker, you will be responsible for safely handling and disposing of explosives and ordnance. You'll work in a dynamic environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are paramount. The role requires a keen focus on safety protocols and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety audits of job sites and equipment.
  • Prepare explosive devices for controlled usage in various operations.
  • Coordinate explosive disposal with certified contractors.
  • Monitor and assess risks associated with planned operations.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures for explosive management.
  • Report safety violations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies for compliance inspections.
  • Conduct training sessions for new team members on safety protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in explosives handling required
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in explosives handling
