Registered Nurse (Surgical RN)

Job Description

As a Surgical RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will assist in the operating room, monitor vital signs, and ensure a smooth recovery for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare surgical instruments.
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed.
• Assist in the operating room by providing necessary tools and support.
• Monitor and document patient conditions during procedures.
• Deliver post-operative support and facilitate communication with families.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital standards.
• Engage in continuous learning and best practice adoption.

Requirements

Education

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred

Experience

• Experience in high-stress surgical environments is a plus.

Certifications

• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR)

Languages

• English: Fluent
