Job Description
As a Surgical RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will assist in the operating room, monitor vital signs, and ensure a smooth recovery for patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare surgical instruments.
Administer medications and anesthesia as directed.
Assist in the operating room by providing necessary tools and support.
Monitor and document patient conditions during procedures.
Deliver post-operative support and facilitate communication with families.
Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital standards.
Engage in continuous learning and best practice adoption.
Requirements
Education
Active RN license in the state of employment
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
Experience
Experience in high-stress surgical environments is a plus.
