Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Inorganic Chemistry Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching inorganic chemistry courses to undergraduate and graduate students at our institution. Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, prepare lab hands-on demonstrations, and support students during practical sessions.
• Review and grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote interest in chemistry education.
• Keep accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Collaborate with other departments to incorporate interdisciplinary approaches.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Inorganic Chemistry or a related field
• Master's degree in Education or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in teaching at higher education levels.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• ChemDraw
• Matlab

Soft Skills

• Passion for science education
• Collaborative mindset

Certifications

• Teaching Certification
• Certified Online Educator

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Grant writing experience: Background in writing and managing research grants.
