Job Description

We are seeking a talented Political Cartoonist to join our team. The successful candidate will create editorial cartoons that capture current political issues and deliver sharp social commentary through visual art.

Responsibilities

• Illustrate cartoons that effectively critique current political landscapes
• Adapt and respond to feedback from the editorial team
• Enhance storylines through creative visual representation
• Stay updated on cultural and global issues to inform your work
• Collaborate with graphic designers for layout and presentation

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Art or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in editorial cartooning

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of current political events and issues
• Experience with animation and video production

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Background in journalism is a plus: Experience working within news publications or media companies.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of styles and topics: Demonstrated versatility and creativity in artwork.
