Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to evaluate pet health.
• Perform advanced surgical techniques and minor outpatient procedures.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment options and outcomes.
• Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure quality care.
• Stay current on veterinary best practices and advancements in surgery.
• Assist in training and mentoring veterinary students and new staff.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote pet wellness.

Requirements

Education

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school
• Board Certification in Surgery preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of surgical experience in veterinary practice
