Job Description

As an Aircraft Structures and Surfaces Assembler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity of aircraft components. You will be responsible for assembling various aircraft structures and surfaces using hand and power tools while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install all aircraft surfaces, ensuring structural integrity.
• Conduct thorough inspections to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes.
• Document assembly procedures and results for compliance purposes.
• Provide feedback on design improvements based on assembly experience.
• Support the overall production timeline by meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in aerospace assembly or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in aircraft assembly or manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Experience with composite materials
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Welding and sheet metal fabrication skills

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Attention to safety procedures

Certifications

• Experience or certification in welding is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with welding techniques: Familiarity with welding processes relevant to aircraft assembly.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations: Understanding of the regulations governing aircraft manufacturing and safety.
