Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mixed Animal Veterinarian to provide comprehensive care to a diverse range of animal species, including both large and small animals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong diagnostic and surgical skills and a commitment to animal welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses in large and small animals.
  • Perform spays, neuters, and other surgical procedures.
  • Provide after-hours emergency care on a rotational basis.
  • Educate pet owners on disease prevention and pet care best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date veterinary knowledge through professional development.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team for optimal care.
  • Manage medical inventories and assist with the technology used in the practice.
  • Contribute to the clinic's mission of exceptional pet care.
  • Participate in outreach programs to educate the community about animal welfare.
  • Document and update patient records accurately and promptly.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Additional specialization training preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in both large and small animal care
