Join our dynamic laboratory team as a Histotechnologist, where you will prepare tissue samples for microscopic evaluation and contribute to essential diagnostic processes. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and proficient in histological techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality embedding and sectioning of tissue samples.
• Utilize automated laboratory instruments for precise results.
• Conduct routine maintenance on microscopy and staining equipment.
• Document and report any discrepancies in sample processing.
• Support laboratory techs in preparing reagents and equipment.
• Participate in audits to maintain compliance with laboratory regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology, Medical Technology, or related field
• Postgraduate training in specialized histology areas is a plus.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in laboratory settings, with a focus on histology.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of anatomical structures and pathology
• Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

Certifications

• ASCP certification preferred, but equivalent qualifications will be considered

Languages

• English: Fluent
