Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of instruments to identify issues.
• Provide cost estimates to clients for repairs needed.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and organized.
• Assist in training apprentices in instrument repair techniques.
• Engage with the local music community to promote our services.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Music Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Music or Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in musical instrument repair

Technical Skills

• Ability to use hand tools
• Experience with digital tuning systems

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Customer service orientation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Customer service experience: Experience in customer interactions is beneficial for this role.
• Technical certifications: Any certifications related to musical instrument repair are a plus.
