Rehabilitation Technician

Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process by supporting patients with their therapy needs. Working under the guidance of physical therapists, you will assist in various exercises and activities aimed at helping patients regain their mobility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient therapy sessions.
• Assist with patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Observe and document patient progress, reporting to therapists as necessary.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Support the rehabilitation team in providing comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Rehabilitation Technician preferred.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Technical Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Current CPR certification required.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility.: Previous work in a dedicated rehabilitation environment.
