We are seeking a Medical Equipment Preparer who will play a crucial role in assisting our surgical team. This position requires strong attention to detail, ensuring all surgical instruments are prepared and sterile before procedures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate exceptional communication skills with medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical instruments based on the planned procedure.
• Work closely with the surgical team to anticipate needs during operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating room.
• Assist in the setup of robotic surgical systems if applicable.
• Participate in surgical team briefings and debriefings.
• Document equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or clinical setting.

Technical Skills

• Robotic surgery systems

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
