Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Parachute Repairer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parachute repair and maintenance, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections of parachute equipment.
  • Repair parachutes using industrial sewing machines and hand tools.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations in all repair processes.
  • Provide on-call support for emergency repairs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance safety protocols.
  • Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions.
  • Assist in developing training materials for new employees.
  • Evaluate and propose upgrades to repair techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Parachute Rigger certification
Experience
  • Experience with various parachute types and models preferred
Technical Skills
  • Industrial sewing machine operation
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
