Job Description

We are currently looking for a Collision Estimator to join our team in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will assess and estimate the damages of vehicles involved in accidents, providing precise quotes to our clients. Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles, taking detailed notes of damages and necessary repairs.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for repairs based on vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle's repair process.
• Work closely with body technicians to ensure estimated costs match repair needs.
• Stay updated on automotive technology developments to improve estimating accuracy.
• Assist clients in understanding insurance claims processes related to repairs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle repairs (a plus)

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of automotive repair databases such as ALLDATA
• Strong computer skills

Soft Skills

• Multitasking capabilities
• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• Certified Automotive Technician (optional)

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with paintless dent repair: Proficient in techniques for repairing dents without repainting.
• Knowledge of advanced repair methods: Understanding of newest trends and advanced techniques in automotive repairs.
