Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Abrasive Grinder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining abrasive grinding machines to fabricate and shape metal workpieces according to specifications. You will work with a skilled team to ensure efficiency and quality in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust grinding machines according to specifications.
• Conduct performance tests on finished products to verify standards.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train new employees on machine operations and safety protocols.
• Monitor grinding process to ensure adherence to productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certification in machining or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience operating abrasive grinding machines.

• CNC Grinding Machines

Certifications

• Advanced Machining Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating other metal fabrication machinery: Familiarity with laser cutters, milling machines, and lathes.
