Mold Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mold Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mold design, tooling, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mold inspections and repairs.
• Assist in new mold designs and modifications.
• Keep the workspace organized and maintain safety protocols.
• Facilitate communication between production and engineering departments.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in mold making
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding

• Mold Repair Techniques
• Robotics and Automation

Certifications

• Certified Injection Molding Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and thermoplastic urethanes (TPU): Knowledge of materials and their properties for effective mold design.
• Experience with scientific molding principles: Proficiency in applying scientific principles to injection molding.
