Job Description

As a Circus Rider, you'll be at the heart of our performances, executing breathtaking stunt riding acts. This role requires not only remarkable riding skills but also the ability to entertain and engage the audience, collaborating closely with fellow performers.

Responsibilities

• Perform various stunt riding acts as directed by the circus director.
• Collaborate with other circus performers to design and execute acts.
• Ensure the well-being of all animals involved in performances.
• Contribute to the creative development of new acts.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and performance improvements.
• Ensure safety measures for all performances.
• Actively engage with the audience during shows.
• Maintain all riding equipment and assist in quality checks.
• Participate in team-building exercises to foster a positive troupe atmosphere.
• Assist in setting up and disassembling performance equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Several years of experience as a circus rider or similar stunt performer

Technical Skills

• Equestrian Skills
• Performance Art

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous Circus Experience: Experience working in various circus environments is preferred.
