Responsibilities

• Evaluate jewelry surfaces for quality and identify areas needing polish.
• Implement polishing processes using appropriate tools for various materials.
• Enhance surface finish through the application of various compounds.
• Eliminate defects and imperfections from jewelry pieces.
• Ensure compliance with waste management and cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to safety measures and utilize protective equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance of polishing machinery and address issues timely.
• Collaborate within the team to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain detailed logs of polishing tasks and inventory management.
• Research and implement advanced polishing techniques to improve workflow.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in jewelry making or polishing is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in polishing or related fields

Technical Skills

• Surface Finishing
• Use of Buffers and Sanders
