Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Outpatient Counselor to provide vital support and counseling to individuals facing substance abuse and behavioral challenges. Your role will encompass initial assessments, crafting treatment strategies, and delivering therapeutic sessions aimed at empowering our clients towards recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify treatment needs.
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective treatment plans.
• Lead group therapy sessions and provide one-on-one counseling.
• Track client progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.
• Document treatment activities and maintain confidentiality protocols.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous education and training for professional growth.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field required
• Licensure in counseling or social work mandatory
• Substance Abuse credential highly desirable

Experience

• 3 years of direct counseling experience is desired
