Job Description

As a Bakery Clerk at Top Notch Bakery, you will assist in the daily operations of our bakery department. Your responsibilities will include preparing various baked goods, assisting customers with their orders, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bakery displays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality baked goods according to established recipes.
  • Assist in the visual merchandising of bakery items for maximum appeal.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards.
  • Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Assist in training new staff members on operational procedures.
  • Help resolve any issues that arise in the bakery department.
  • Support marketing initiatives to promote new products.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
