As a Licensed Counselor, you will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Your mission will be to support clients in overcoming mental health challenges and enhancing their emotional well-being.
Responsibilities
Evaluate clients' needs and create tailored treatment plans.
Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focusing on client goals.
Provide therapeutic resources and educational materials to clients.
Document all sessions and maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
Engage in regular supervision and consultation with peers.
Support clients in developing effective coping mechanisms and strategies.
Assist in the implementation of mental health initiatives within the community.
Maintain a client-centered approach to promote healing and growth.
Contribute to team meetings with insights and feedback for improving client care.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
State licensure is required
Experience
Experience working with diverse populations in a clinical setting is preferred
