Job Description

Join our dedicated team at Forest Logistics Co. as a Log Roper. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our logging operations, working diligently to secure logs for safe transportation. We are looking for an individual with a robust physical stamina, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will inspect logs for quality, use ropes and chains for securement, and help ensure the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor weather conditions to ensure safety during log handling.
  • Actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in log roping or similar forestry activities preferred.
