Music Ministries Director

Job Description

The Music Ministries Director will be responsible for leading and directing music programs within our church. You will collaborate with staff and volunteers to create engaging music experiences that enhance our worship services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement music for all worship services.
• Select music that aligns with the church’s mission and values.
• Organize and direct rehearsal schedules and music events.
• Manage the music ministry budget effectively.
• Collaborate with the Worship Committee to design meaningful worship experiences.
• Participate in church-wide events and staff meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

Requirements

Education

• Master's Degree in Music, Music Education, or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience training and managing volunteers

• Music Arranging
• Audio/Visual Production

• Flexibility
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Proficient in Music Theory

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with youth music programs: Prior experience leading children's choirs and youth ensembles.
• Media Ministry Experience: Familiarity with audio/visual production and technology.
