Job Description

As a Plant Culture Manager, you will oversee and implement effective strategies for plant cultivation, ensuring the health and growth of a variety of plants. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of agricultural best practices, coupled with strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of plant cultivation, ensuring all practices adhere to safety and environmental protocols.
  • Implement best practices for pest and disease management, enhancing plant resilience and productivity.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align plant production with market demands.
  • Develop training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant care.
  • Utilize plant cultivation software for data tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor resource usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct regular assessments of cultivation processes to determine areas for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to adopt sustainable practices within cultivation operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Biology, or a related field
Experience
  • Several years of experience in plant management and cultivation, with a focus on greenhouse operations
