Job Description

The Bridge Technician will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of bridges, ensuring they are safe and fit for use. The role demands a keen eye for detail and practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assess bridges regularly to identify maintenance needs.
  • Engage in physical repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Generate reports detailing the work conducted and safety assessments.
  • Work with maintenance teams to schedule and execute tasks effectively.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working order and properly maintained.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in bridge maintenance, repair, or construction
