Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes and equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing product quality and efficiency while ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work with the quality control team to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Implement and monitor best practices in manufacturing.
  • Support training efforts for plant personnel on new equipment and processes.
  • Monitor production metrics and report on results to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements.
  • Conduct assessments to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely equipment delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
  • Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project)
  • Quality Management Systems
