Job Description

As an Asphalt Paving Coordinator, you will coordinate and oversee asphalt paving projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality standards are met on every job site. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead asphalt paving projects, ensuring timelines and quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate logistics for labor and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold project standards.
  • Engage in problem-solving to address challenges during project execution.
  • Maintain documentation for project progress and compliance.
  • Foster teamwork and support among crew members.
  • Liaison with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality materials.
  • Review contractor performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Assist in training new team members on safety and project protocols.
  • Monitor work-related costs and prepare reports for budget tracking.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Equivalent practical experience in construction may suffice
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in asphalt paving or construction coordination
