Job Description

Join our engineering team in Detroit as an Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologist, where you will be responsible for creating detailed part designs and collaborating with engineers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype electrical components using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs based on testing and feedback.
• Develop documentation for production and assembly processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards during production.
• Lead projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Support manufacturing with guidance during production and resolution of issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical and electronic parts design

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling
• DFM
• Material Science
• Technical Documentation

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Automotive Engineering: Knowledge and experience in automotive component design.
• Knowledge of FEA and CFD: Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis.
