Revenue Accountant

Job Description

Join our team as a Revenue Accountant, where you'll play a key role in managing financial reporting related to revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts for revenue recognition requirements
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue recognition
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing processes
• Analyze revenue trends and variances regularly
• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and analysis
• Support audits and ad hoc projects
• Develop and implement process improvements in revenue accounting
• Monitor compliance with GAAP and ASC 606
• Use data analysis tools to generate reports

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting or related fields
