Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

Job Description

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), you will be pivotal in ensuring that all products supplied by our vendors meet the stringent quality standards expected in the aerospace industry. This role involves developing quality plans, conducting audits, and working closely with suppliers to resolve issues and enhance performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance metrics and reporting.
• Work closely with suppliers to foster continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis for supplier-related quality issues.
• Facilitate quality improvement workshops with suppliers.
• Develop corrective action plans in collaboration with suppliers.
• Conduct training sessions for suppliers on quality management systems.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier quality processes and systems.
• Ensure all quality documentation is maintained accurately.
• Advocate for quality initiatives across the organization.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace quality management

Languages

• English: Fluent
