Job Description

As a Forest and Conservation Worker, you will play a vital role in cultivating and harvesting Christmas trees while ensuring the sustainability of our forest practices. We seek someone passionate about environmental conservation and skilled in tree nursery management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the tree nursery.
  • Conduct soil and water quality assessments for optimal growth.
  • Implement sustainable practices in tree cultivation.
  • Participate in community outreach to promote conservation efforts.
  • Assist in marketing and selling our Christmas trees.
  • Document growth progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Tree Nursery Manager.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of a relevant vocational training is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in forestry or horticulture

Languages
  • English: Fluent
