Job Description
We are seeking skilled Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators to efficiently manage and oversee the operations of our water treatment facilities. The ideal candidates will ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct routine maintenance, and monitor water quality to guarantee safe and clean water delivery to the community.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and monitoring of water treatment processes.
  • Document maintenance and operational activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance water quality assurance.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Address any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Support the training of new staff members on operational protocols.
  • Assist in the coordination of project upgrades and maintenance schedules.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • SCADA systems Experience in operating SCADA systems for water management.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting.
  • GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) Basic understanding of GIS software for water mapping.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail Exceptional attention to detail in monitoring and reporting.
  • Problem-solving Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges effectively.
  • Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification
  • Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with GIS software: Hands-on experience using GIS software to manage water resources and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes: Understanding of the various processes involved in water purification and wastewater treatment.
