Responsibilities

• Use precision cutting techniques to ensure high-quality timber output.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues for timely repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to promote safety.
• Assist in planning cutting schedules based on project needs.
• Train new staff on cutting techniques and safety practices.
• Execute other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in timber cutting or a related field

Technical Skills

• Chainsaw Operation
• Timber Processing Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Chainsaw Operator Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Heavy Machinery Experience: Prior experience operating heavy machinery is a plus.
• Knowledge of Environmental Regulations: Understanding of sustainable forestry practices and regulations.
