We are seeking a skilled Outside Barrel Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining lathes to produce high-quality products. The role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the barrel lathe machine to create precise workpieces.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and materials for lathe operations.
• Secure and align workpieces in the lathe for accurate machining.
• Inspect workpieces with precision measuring instruments to meet strict tolerances.
• Maintain documentation related to production processes and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in machining or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating outside barrel lathes
