Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our Fresno team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of tax regulations. You will assist clients in preparing their tax returns, provide tax advice, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by answering client questions.
• Monitor and analyze changes in tax law and their implications.
• Assist in training junior staff on tax procedures.
• Utilize tax software to prepare and file returns efficiently.
• Engage in networking to develop new client relationships.
• Collaborate with team members to meet objectives and deliver on projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certification as an Enrolled Agent is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in taxation

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Expertise in Tax Compliance

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Enrolled Agent Certification
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
