Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Repairer Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the repair and maintenance of various musical instruments. This role requires a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with experienced instrument technicians to learn the trade.
  • Conduct pre-repair inspections of musical instruments to identify issues.
  • Document repair activities accurately to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that instruments meet operational standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment following all safety protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering replacement parts.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment by supporting colleagues as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in instrument repair or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided.
