Responsibilities

• Make critical calls and enforce penalties accordingly.

• Assess and evaluate game situations and react appropriately.
• Maintain an understanding of new rules and changes in officiating standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a recognized officiating program is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of officiating experience in football or similar sports

Technical Skills

• Proficient in rule interpretation
• Game strategy knowledge

Soft Skills

• Conflict resolution skills
• Leadership qualities

Certifications

• Background check and drug screening

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with video replay systems: Experience using video technology to assist with officiating decisions.
• Additional certifications in sports officiating: Certification in multiple sports enhances qualifications.
