Job Description

As an Engine Specialist, you will take charge of overseeing and improving the performance of small engines used in outdoor power equipment. Your expertise in engine systems will be crucial to troubleshooting and optimizing performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair internal combustion engines.
• Perform engine maintenance, tune-ups, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct engine rebuilds and overhauls when necessary.
• Identify and resolve engine performance issues effectively.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed logs of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Coordinate with suppliers for necessary parts and components.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and technology in engine systems.
• Assist in training and mentoring new employees in engine repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engine maintenance and repair

Certifications

• Small Engine Repair Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
