Job Description

The Aircraft Armament Mechanic plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing aircraft armament systems, ensuring their safe operation to support mission readiness. This position requires a diligent and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about aviation technology and defense systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on advanced electronic armament systems.
  • Inspect components for wear and damage, recommending replacements as needed.
  • Work closely with engineers to troubleshoot system failures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety.
  • Respond swiftly to any emergency situations involving armament systems.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational training program in aircraft armament maintenance preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft armament maintenance or related field
