Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologist to conduct failure analyses, identify root causes, and develop solutions to enhance product reliability. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform failure analysis on a variety of electronic systems.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies in product testing.
• Generate detailed failure analysis reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the Product Development team in improving design and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor product performance and suggest design improvements.
• Participate in reliability testing and validation of engineering designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in failure analysis or related field

Technical Skills

• Analytical tools
• Matlab
• LabView
• Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
• Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS)

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with reliability testing: In-depth knowledge of testing protocols to ensure product longevity.
• Knowledge of materials science and metallurgy.: Understanding of material properties and their applications in engineering.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Hands-on experience with FEA for stress testing designs.
