Sound Truck Operator

Job Description

As a Sound Truck Operator at Audio Experts Inc., you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sound equipment in mobile settings. Your expertise will ensure high-quality audio during live events, recordings, and broadcasts.

Responsibilities

• Handle the entire setup of sound equipment before events.
• Monitor and adjust audio levels during performances for optimal sound.
• Ensure timely breakdown of sound equipment post-event.
• Keep track of all equipment usage and report any malfunctions.
• Work closely with sound engineers and other crew members to deliver high-quality sound.
• Implement safety measures while handling equipment.
• Update knowledge of industry standards and sound engineering techniques.
• Provide feedback on sound quality to the production team.
• Organize training sessions for new team members regarding equipment usage.
• Assist in managing inventory and procurement of sound equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Degree in Sound Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in sound operations or similar.
