Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Pharmacy Solutions Inc., you'll play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for helping people manage their medications effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in managing prescriptions and medication refills.
• Educate patients on medication usage and side effects.
• Process insurance claims for medications.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Pharmacy Technology preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy Software Proficiency
• Inventory Control

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Spanish: Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
• Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting: Hands-on experience in a hospital or specialty pharmacy.
