Job Description

Join our team as a Herdsman, responsible for overseeing daily operations of our livestock farm. You will manage the health and well-being of cattle, maintaining farm facilities and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer health checks and vaccinations to livestock.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, ensuring a safe environment for animals.
• Collaborate with veterinary services to address animal health concerns.
• Plan and execute breeding initiatives, keeping detailed pedigree records.
• Lead training sessions for new employees on livestock management practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in a livestock setting preferred
